QUARTZ is a strong, crystalline mineral made up of silicon and oxygen atoms and the second most common mineral in the planet’s crust after the feldspar series of minerals. Quartz crystals, which are hexagonal in form, differ widely in size and colour. This flexible mineral is both robust and chemically inert and has outstanding heat resistance and electrical properties.

Quartz is a defining element of granite and other igneous felsic rocks. Sedimentary rocks including sandstones and shales as well as shale, gneiss, quartzite and other metamorphic rocks are natural.
Our quartz comes in all forms from 100, 150, 200, 250, 325 & 500 BSS mesh, grain & fine powder.
