KAOLIN
KAOLIN is a hydrated silicate aluminium crystalline material, which is produced over millions of years by the hydrothermal decomposition of granite minerals, or ‘china clay,’ as it is widely called. The fine particulate scale, platform or lamellar particle shape and chemical inertness define the hydrous kaolin. Calcined Kaolin
Calcined Kaolin is anhydrous silicate of aluminium made from extremely fine natural kaolin and heated in a kiln to a high temperature. Calcined Kaolin is anhydrous aluminium silicate. The cycle of calcination raises whiteness and strength, strengthens electric properties and adjusts kaolin particle size and form.
